What changed
Free first, with a clearer release path.
The application, website, and download flow were aligned around the Free Public Preview.
DESKTOP APP
Free release enabled
- Five editable novels are included in the Free plan.
- The chapter editor, Codex worldbuilding, Word/PDF export, and OpenRouter support remain available.
- Premium-only features are locked and labelled Coming soon.
- Pricing and checkout prompts are removed for this release.
WINDOWS RELEASE
Installer published
- A Windows installer is available from the HexaQuill website.
- The official GitHub release provides a second trusted download route.
- The installer is not yet digitally signed, so Windows may show an Unknown publisher warning.
- A Microsoft Store release is planned for later.

Download experience rebuilt
- The home-page download buttons now lead to a dedicated download page.
- Users can choose the website installer or open the official GitHub release page.
- The canonical production domain is hexaquill.com.
- The SHA-256 checksum is displayed for installer verification.
